Waste Collection Services at Batu Kawa Area Undergoing Improvement Exercises

KUCHING: Trienekens (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd is currently making some changes to its collection services at Batu Kawa; namely at Jalan Stephen Yong, Jalan Batu Kawa, Jalan Segedup, Jalan Field Force, Kuching City Mall commercial area, as well as nearby villages and residential areas. The exercise is part of the company’s efforts to reevaluate and improve its services, in line with the city’s expansion and growing population in residential, commercial and industrial areas. Due to these adjustments, the mentioned areas may temporarily encounter slight delays in the collection of their household waste.

“The general changes include re-assignment of collection service areas for our teams including our sub-contractors while setting efficient boundaries for effective and optimum delivery of services; all carried out to ensure the affected areas receive better and more efficient services,” explained Trienekens’ Chief Operating Officer, Alice Lee. “We have noted the recent grouses by some of the residents, and rest assured that all efforts are now being done to improve the situation. We encourage the public to call our HOTLINE if they encounter any problems with the collection services in their area.”
