1.1 | The Government of Malaysia has implemented the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (“PDPA”) to regulate the processing of personal data in commercial transactions. PDPA applies to all companies and firms established in Malaysia and it requires us to inform you of your rights in respect of your personal data that have been collected and is being processed by us, and the purposes for the processing. PDPA also requires us to obtain your consent to the processing of your personal data. |
2.1 | We wish to inform that during the course of any dealing or transaction with you, Trienekens (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd (“Trienekens”) processes personal data which includes but is not limited to your full name, copies and other details of identity documents, national registration identification card (NRIC) number, passport number, address, telephone number, email address, education and employment details (for job applicant), username, password and photographs (for our mobile app users) and other contact details (collectively “Personal Data”). |
2.2 | Your personal data is collected from various sources, including information you have provided us from time to time via any communications or interactions with us including e-mail, manual or digital registration form, call, application and website. However, some personal data may also be collected by us from other available sources including but not limited to credit reporting agencies, government department or agencies, public registries, websites, social media, publications, events, seminars, conferences. |
3.1 | Personal Data is collected and processed by Trienekens for the following purposes:- |
(a) To communicate with you; (b) To provide our products and services to you; (c) To process your payment transactions; (d) To respond to your enquiries; (e) For market survey and trend analysis; (f) To provide you with information on new services of Trienekens; (g) To promote our services and other marketing activities; (h) For recruitment and employment purposes (for job applicant); (i) For security and fraud prevention purposes; (j) Internal record keeping and audit purposes; (k) Legal and enforcement purposes; and/or (l) Other legitimate business activities of Trienekens Group. However, we may charge a fee for processing your request for access and we may refuse to comply with your request for access or correction in accordance with the PDPA. |
