Trienekens bags Excellent Employer Award for Safe Journey Management

Trienekens (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd is honoured to be the first Sarawakian company to receive the prestigious Excellent Employer Award for Safe Journey Management at the National Occupational Safety and Health Awards 2023 (AKKPN23) recently.

This esteemed recognition, awarded by YB Steven Sim Chee Keong, Minister of Human Resources at the AKKPN23, highlights the company’s unwavering commitment to workplace safety. The award ceremony, organised by the National Council for Occupational Safety and Health (NCOSH) in collaboration with the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH), celebrated exceptional achievements in occupational safety and health across 32 award categories.

Trienekens Group Chief Executive Officer Stephen Chin expressed his gratitude, saying, “We are deeply humbled by this recognition and sincerely thank all our stakeholders for their invaluable support throughout this journey. Trienekens earned this accolade for its outstanding efforts in ensuring safe journey management for employees, contractors, and stakeholders. The rigorous evaluation included thorough audit sessions throughout the country by NCOSH’s panel of experts, further underscoring the significance of this achievement.

Accepting the award on behalf of Trienekens at AKKPN23 were Chief Operating Officer, Alice Lee and General Manager of HSE, Harris ak Michael Deho. This milestone reflects the collective effort of every Trienekens team member to fostering a safe and healthy and supportive work environment.
