Plastic Free July

Plastic Free July is a global movement which creates awareness and engages the global community to be part of the solution to beat plastic pollution. Made from petroleum, a non-renewable natural resource, plastic does not biodegrade. It accumulates and stays in the environment for hundreds of years. Single-use plastics may be convenient and frequently used over mere minutes but unchecked usage in the long run and the sheer volume of it creates a great burden on our environment. Single-use plastics such as plastic straws, disposal utensils, bags and product packaging are wastes that we can easily reduce by making smart and sustainable choices.
