Early Waste Collection Services for CNY 2025

Trienekens (Sarawak) Sdn. Bhd. will carry out early waste collection services in selected areas with a Wednesday collection day in preparation for the upcoming Chinese New Year (CNY) festival. These areas will be serviced one day earlier, on CNY’s eve, 28 January (Tuesday), starting at 5 a.m.

There will be no collection in the affected areas on the first day of CNY, 29 January (Wednesday). Collection services will resume to the normal schedule on the second day of CNY, 30 January (Thursday).

Residents are reminded to wheel out their bins early to avoid any missed collections. They are also encouraged to keep their neighbourhoods clean and refrain from disposing of waste indiscriminately. Any extra waste should be securely packed and placed next to their wheelie bins on collection day for safe and proper disposal by the collection teams.
