Trienekens Receives Early Adopter Excellence Award (Industry) from SDEC

Trienekens (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd was recently awarded with the esteemed Early Adopter Excellence Award (Industry) from Sarawak Digital Economy Corporation (SDEC) at its inaugural SDEC Technology Accelerator (STAcc) Demo Day 2024.

The award was given in recognition of Trienekens’ contribution as one of the key industry partners who supported the team of STAcc researchers through the sharing of its industry knowledge, innovation, and expertise. Working closely with researchers from Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak, the company served as an industry partner and validator for the innovation of a smart waste collection technology. Trienekens fully supports the acceleration towards digital transformation and is committed to advancing sustainability, technology, innovation, and growth in the Sarawak region.

STAcc is a structured accelerator programme designed to accelerate researchers’ commercialization journeys, providing them with skills and support as well as access to market and funding opportunities to transform their research into market-ready solutions and tangible economic outcomes.

The STAcc Demo Day 2024, themed ‘Propelling Deep Tech Breakthroughs’, aimed to foster connections between innovators, investors and industry experts, and create a dynamic environment for collaboration and knowledge exchange.
