Trienekens Provides Additional Bins For Hari Raya

Trienekens (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd today announced their action plan for the upcoming Hari Raya celebrations in preparation for the excessive wastes generated from residents’ spring-cleaning and increased shopping activities around this time.

“Trienekens will temporarily allocate additional 8 units of 1,000 litre bins, 16 units of 660l MGB and 5 units of RoRo containers at the following “hot-spot” areas around Kuching City,” announced Mr. Elvin Wee, Logistics Manager of Trienekens (Sarawak) Sdn. Bhd..

With effect from 21 October 2005 to 8 November 2005 the following locations will be equipped with MGB bins while RoRo containers will be sent on 24 October 2005:

DBKU Area: Bazaar Ramadhan, Bandar Baru Semariang, Perumahan Fasa 2, Jalan Astana, Taman Mawar, Gita Kubur, Kampung Lintang, Kpg Sungai Bedil Besar, Kampung Boyan, Siol Kandis, Jalan Siol Kandis, Kampung Semariang Pinggir, Ajibah Abol, Jalan Patinggan, Bandar Baru Semariang, Jalan Bentara, Lorong Tanah Merah, Semariang Batu

Residents are advised to dispose of their Hari Raya spring cleaning and extra household wastes at least a week before the celebration. They are urged to dispose of their wastes into these additional wheel bins, which will be collected daily.

They are advised also to pack all wastes in proper garbage bags. Additional wastes, which cannot fit into the wheel bin, should also be tied-up in garbage bags and placed next to the bin.

In addition to the provision of extra bins, Trienekens’ waste trucks will be working on double shifts till 2:00 am on Hari Raya Eve (2 November).
