Trienekens Provides Additional Bin & Collection Services for Hari Raya

Trienekens (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd today revealed their action plan for the upcoming Hari Raya celebrations in preparation for the expected rise of wastes volume generated from residents’ spring-cleaning and increased shopping activities around this time.
“Trienekens will temporarily allocate additional 30 units of 1,000 litre bins, 20 units of 660l Communal Wheel Bins and 5 units of RoRo waste containers at the following “hot-spot” areas around Kuching City,” announced Mr. Elvin Wee, the Logistics & Service s Manager of Trienekens (Sarawak) Sdn. Bhd..
With effect from 16 October 2006 to 25 October 2006 the following locations will be equipped with MGB bins while RoRo containers will be sent on 15 October 2006:
DBKU Area:
Bazaar Ramadhan, Bandar Baru Semariang, Perumahan Fasa 2, Jalan Astana, Taman Mawar, Gita Kubur, Kampung Lintang, Kpg Sungai Bedil Besar, Kampung Boyan, Siol Kandis, Jalan Siol Kandis, Kampung Semariang Pinggir, Ajibah Abol, Jalan Patinggan, Bandar Baru Semariang, Jalan Bentara, Lorong Tanah Merah, Semariang Batu
Residents are advised to dispose of their Hari Raya spring cleaning and extra household wastes at least 2 weeks in advance before the celebration to avoid last minute requests. They are urged to dispose of their wastes into these additional wheel bins, which will be collected daily.
They are advised also to pack all wastes in proper garbage bags. Additional wastes, which cannot fit into the wheel bin, should also be tied-up in garbage bags and placed next to the bin.
In addition to the provision of extra bins, Trienekens’ waste trucks will be working on double shifts till 1:00 am on Hari Raya Eve (23 October 2006). Residents are advised to contact Trienekens Hotline 082-422515 for further enquiries about the collection services in their area during the Hari Raya holidays.
DBKU will be deploying their own trucks for the collection and clearing of bulky / garden waste. Residents may directly contact DBKU Hotline at 082-446644 for further information on the bulky collection.
