Temporary Change in Waste Collection during Hari Raya

Trienekens (Sarawak) Sdn. Bhd. informs the public that during the forthcoming Hari Raya Celebrations, there will be a temporary change in the collection day at certain areas under Majlis Perbandaran Padawan (MPP), Dewan Bandaraya Kuching Utara (DBKU) and Majlis Bandaraya Kuching Selatan (MBKS).
The normal collection days in these areas will be brought forward a day earlier from Wednesday, 1 October to Tuesday, 30 September 2008. The schedule will be back to normal collection frequency from 02 October 2008 onwards. Therefore, there will be no waste collection services in the areas on 1 October 2008.
The collection time is temporarily adjusted to accommodate the peak visiting hours on the first day of Hari Raya as the routes are usually congested during this period. The adjustments will also help ensure a smooth, effective and efficient collection operation prior to the festive season. Trienekens’ collection trucks will also be working on double shifts until 1am on the eve of Hari Raya.

Trienekens seeks the cooperation of the public in these areas to push out their wheel bin early before 5.00 a.m. on the scheduled waste collection days (30 September 2008) to avoid any missed collections.
