A new way of disposing of waste. That was what experienced by Tatau residents in early March when they received their new 120 litre mobile garbage bins (MGBs).
Trienekens Bintulu Branch, with collaboration from Bintulu Development Authority (BDA), initiated the door-to-door delivery for the residents. The team was led by the Branch’s Senior Supervisor Mr. Lita Lee. Before the distribution, the team had a quick briefing and went on to meet the residents to handover the bins. Details of the recipients were also recorded for reference purposes.
“We are happy and appreciate that Trienekens is willing to send bins directly to our houses,” said a resident, Mr. Sadau ak Jenang.
“The distribution was a success and a great help to the Tatau community,” added En. Ahmad Mokhtar, a BDA personnel who was also present during the handover.

RECEIVING NEW BINS...One of the resident recieving his new bin as Trienekens' staff jots down his particulars.
The delivery was part of the Trienekens’ corporate social responsibility to ensure that Tatau residents receive the proper waste receptacles for their homes. This will encourage the residents to dispose of their waste in a proper manner.
“With the new bins, we hope the residents will continue to cooperate by using their bins responsibly and throw their waste into the bins,” said Mr. Lee of Trienekens.
