BIGGER SPACE FOR BIGGER WASTE...Residents using the 10cbm container at a gotong-royong session. The waste receptacle caters for all types of waste such as construction waste, bulky waste, spring cleaning waste and garden waste.
Beginning from 1 March 2006, the industrial town of Bintulu will soon enjoy yet another beneficial waste management solution from Trienekens (Sarawak) Sdn. Bhd, the operator of the Integrated Solid Waste Management System (ISWMS) in the state. The waste management company will be launching its RoRo (Roll ON Roll Off) Container Service to the general public and business entities in Bintulu.
“We are excited to finally be able to introduce this service to our customers in Bintulu. With the availability of the container services, our customers will benefit substantially from this service as it can cater for bigger volume of wastes at a very cost-efficient rate,” announced Mr. Thaddeus Wong, the Branch Manager of Trienekens (Sarawak) Sdn. Bhd, Bintulu.
“Waste generators such as construction companies and SMIs can engage the service as waste disposal can now be done in a fully organised and environmentally safe manner,” Mr. Wong said. “Even house owners, who are planning to renovate their houses, can use this service to ensure that their construction wastes are properly managed and disposed of during the renovation period.”
TRANSPORTING WASTE WITH EASE...A hooklift truck ferrying the waste to a proper disposal location, saving customers a lot of time and space.
Customers with huge amount of waste will no longer have to worry about the location and methods of disposing of their waste as Trienekens will be handling them right from their door step up to the disposal stage. Upon completion of usage, Trienekens will collect and transport the waste to the Kidurong Dumpsite for disposal.
The service’s package rate is attractive and reasonable as it includes the placement of the container at customer’s premise, transportation and disposal of wastes. Hence, saving a lot of the customers’ valuable time and space. Most importantly, they can focus on preserving their surrounding environment in clean manner without worrying about unsightly wastes or possible pollution.
At the size of 10cbm, the container can cater for all types of wastes such as bulky wastes, garden wastes, construction wastes or spring cleaning wastes. The container service is currently available only in Kuching and has been a popular choice amongst waste generators in the city. Information leaflets describing the service will be distributed to all households and business entities in Bintulu.
